Todd Munson. "Selling China: www.cnta.com and Cultural Nationalism" in The Journal of MultiMedia History, Vol. 2, 1999. (http://www.albany.edu/jmmh/vol2no1/chinaweb.html)
Muson examines Chinese cultural identity as it is formed and re-formed in www.cnta.coms (Chinese National Tourist Association) various pages, and looks at some of the ways in which nationalism and global capitalism meet in the arena of foreign tourism. He claims that the exploration of these two issues can enlarge our understanding of official nationalism, and of the Internet as a burgeoning medium for such a message.
