David Bell.net: David Bell is one of the leading historians of early modern France and his latest book, The Cult of the Nation: Inventing Nationalism, 1680-1800, recently earned him the Leo Gershoy Award from the American Historical Association. Bell's homepage includes a variety of information related to the development of French nationalism including an extensive bibliography, list of primary sources, a list of links, and course sites for Bell's various classes at Johns Hopkins University. David Bell is a member of the advisory committee for The Nationalism Project.
